Clarence House Debunked Report, Saying: ‘Prince Charles Did Not Speculate Over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Son, Archie's Skin Colour’

A representative for Prince Charles has dismissed the claim that the royal asked about the complexion of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's children as total “fiction.”

According to Page Six, who obtained an early copy of Christopher Andersen's new book Brothers And Wives: Inside The Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry and Meghan, a “well-placed source” is claiming that it was the Prince of Wales who inquired about his future grandchildren's skin tone.

They say that Charles had a conversation with Camilla in 2017 on the morning Harry and Meghan announced their engagement, asking his wife, “I wonder what the children will look like?” The insider added that Camilla was “somewhat taken aback” by the question and purportedly responded, “Well, absolutely gorgeous, I'm certain.” Charles then allegedly lowered his voice and asked again, “I mean, what do you think their children's complexion might be?” But a spokesperson for Clarence House told the outlet, “This is fiction and not worth further comment.”
