Ousmane Dembele To Man Utd Loan Deal Has Become Complicated For One Reason

Dembele To Man Utd Loan Deal Complicated

Manchester United have revealed they only want Ousmane Dembele on loan and they will not try to sign the player permanently.

Dembele is top of their list of alternatives for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho and the Red Devils are now trying to bring the 23-year-old to Old Trafford.

The LaLiga giants would be keen to include a view for a permanent transfer in any potential loan deal but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are only interested in a loan deal.

That’s according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano who said on Here We Go Podcast: “The man issue in this moment for Ousmane Dembele is that the player has just two years left on his contract with Barcelona.

“He doesn’t want to extend his contract with Barcelona, so he’s considering staying with this contract.

“When you go to talk to Manchester United and Barcelona, they are considering a possible deal because Manchester United are interested in Ousmane Dembele.

“But the problem is, having him for just two years of contract left, if he comes back to Barcelona after just one year loan and he doesn’t want to extend his contract with Barca, it’s a big, big problem.

“Because he could be available for free within six months, so it’s a complicated situation.

“When we are talking about the player, Manchester United will only consider him on loan and not a permanent deal.

“I think in Spain they’re talking about a permanent deal but the position from Manchester United is different. They consider just a loan and not a permanent deal.”
